HSM: How to configure

Hi,

I want to use HSM for MPC5748G device. Initially, I want to use it for Random no generation and later want to extend the use for signature verification.

I have earlier worked on RH850 where I have used TriCore s/w to access the HSM module for RH850. In this context, how HSM for MPC5768G works? Is there any configuration s/w available for it?

Any sample application to start with will be helpful. Thanks in advance.

However I can help with MPC5748G.

First you have to obtain security reference manual. There you can find described how HSM works.

Is there any configuration s/w available for it?

I don't think so. There are some example SW in SDK for S32DS.

Furthermore without security documentation you wont be able to start HSM as it is by default disabled.
