Many years ago we designed a board using the PowerQUICC-I processor MPC823E.
This design has now been in production far longer than we had anticipated, and sourcing the components is getting really hard.
I just noticed that the XPC823ECZT66B2 we use was qualified together with a SC540204CZT66A, which is supposed to be an automotive version of the MPC823E. But I can not find any data on this device besides this:

Does anyone have a datasheet, or know what the difference is?
I have of course asked my FAE. But this has low priority, since the device went EOL in 2006.

Hi,
I am not sure what is the correct replacement of MPC823E, however you can have a look at our latest MPC57xx family to see if it fits your needs:
Ultra-Reliable MPC57xx 32-bit Automotive and Industrial Microcontrollers (MCUs) | NXP
If you post a list of required features I can guide you further.
