CAN Message RAM configuration

Hello,

I'm using MPC5777C controller.

In the data-sheet of the controller under memory map section, it is mentioned that M_CAN RAM is from 0xFFE3_4000 to 0xFFE3_7FFF. This I believe to be of 15.99KB.

But, under chip-specific M_CAN information it is mentioned that Message RAM supports 9.5KB.

May I know if M_CAN will support 15.99KB RAM or 9.5 KB ?

Hi @Noobie 

there's 9.5KB RAM only as mentioned in section 41.1.1.

The address range 0xFFE3_4000–0xFFE3_7FFF does not say that there's exactly the same amount of RAM. This range is used due to alignment.
