hello,master

how does lpc4337 work when XTAL_OSC_CTRL register BYPASS bit set 0  and XTAL1 connect with active oscillator, XTAL2 unconnected? Now the cpu  works normally in this case.

Hi @jent

It can “work” with BYPASS = 0 because the amplifier is being driven.

It’s better and safer to set BYPASS = 1 when using an external clock on XTAL1 and leaving XTAL2 open.
