MIMXRT1180-EVK with netc_switch_cm7 example doesn't work as I expected

Basically, I am using the examples with different IDE’s only to get for testing purpose. MIMXRT1180-EVK is the REV C3.

I am using the MIMXRT1180-EVK with the MCUXpresso IDE and the netc_switch_cm7 example and I can’t compile it.

The next step is the MIMXRT1180-EVK with the Keil uVision and the netc_switch_cm7 example. It compiles, run on the MIMXRT1180-EVK, and shows me the required output on the serial monitor without any issues. I have connected a D-Link DAP-1360 router to the Ethernet port 0 and my personal computer on the Ethernet port 2.

First, I tried the “ping> 192.168.0.50” on the command line with a connection over the separated ZyXEL EX-105A switch to the D-Link DAP-1360 router and it works as expected.

Second, I tried it with the MIMXRT1180-EVK and the switch example, which is located between ZyXEL EX-105A switch and D-Link DAP-1360 router. I can’t ping it anymore.

Sorry for the late response, and I named the Keil_uVision.png file incorrectly because it is a MCUXpresso.png. With MCUXpresso IDE it doesn't compile neither the netc_switch_cm7 nor the netc_switch_cm33. I deleted it and downloaded it again with the same result.

In the next step I tried it with the Keil uVision netc_switch_cm33 and it also doesn't work as I would expect. I can not ping the router.

The R469 is populate, and I found it on the MIMXRT1180-EVK.
The Keil_uVision_netc_swicht_cm33.png shows that the reset pins are set to 1. This means that the 74LVC1G07-Q100 module which is connected to the phy sets the phy reset pins to high-impedance.
It seams to me that the requied open-drain on the phy's reset pin is not available. Is this a reasonable possibility or do I have to change the 74LVC1G07-Q100 module on the MIMXRT1180-EVK. Please see the phy_reset.png

Thanks for your post!

To properly run the example, it is needed to populate R469 and set reset pin as open-drain to complete the PHY hardware reset properly.

Could you confirm this is set properly? 

In addition, I was able to compile the example without problem with SDK 25.09 and MCUXpresso 25.6
