Hi,

What would be the minimal circuit needed to get the MCXN547 (or 947) to run (iow, getting to a 'blinking led').

Are the external crystals (main clock and RTC) required?

We have a minimalistic board-design using the MCXN547, the MCU seems to hold the RESET_B pin low and sofar we haven't figured out why.. Both ISP (uart) and SWD don't seem to work.

Hi @bastiaan,

Please look at the following documentation for more information about the basic setup of the MCX Nx4x:

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=UG10092

https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=UG10101

And yes, the external crystals are required.

BR,
Edwin.

Hey @bastiaan,

Thanks for sharing the links! I’ll check them out. Appreciate the confirmation about the external crystals—I wasn’t 100% sure. If I run into any issues during setup, I might ping you again. Thanks!
