Problems with Hello World Rx

We are getting started with the LPC55S06-EVK and having problems with the SDK's hello world.

Setup:

• MCUXpresso v11.7.0
• SDK v2.13.0
• LPC55S06-EVK

Working:

• Blinky demo
• Hello World console output "hello world."

Problem:

• Hello World console input - the input values are not received by GETCHAR() on hello_world.c:50

I smash the keyboard a lot, and nothing works. Have tried in PuTTy/Realterm too I'm desperate - thoughts? How do I get Rx working for this demo?

*I found the SDK's getting started reference but wanted to check here first, this was not expected!

It was just a jumper - JP12. Here is the ref:

Can you please provide explicit reference to JP12 in your documentation or source commentary for this demo?

You can simple use the Terminal of MCUXpresso IDE:

Also pay attention please choose "UART console" with your project:
