If a project is built using part support from an SDK and is then exported – for example to share the project with a colleague who also uses MCUXpresso IDE, then the colleague must also install an SDK providing part support for the project’s MCU. Since device support is included in the SDK, it is recommended that any required SDKs are installed before a project requiring SDK part support is imported. However, if this is not done beforehand, simply select the imported project in the project explorer and right click and select: C/C++ Build -> MCU settings ensure the correct MCU is selected and click Refresh MCU Cache.
