Reading PN7642 Register values

Hey there,

my problem is, that i cannot see the Register values using Peripheral+ view (see attached screenshot). When I stop the Controller in debug mode, all Registers are red. Only Timer Component shows me some values. What could cause this?

(PN7642 (Dev Kit) with MCUXpresso (v24.12.148, SDK version 2.12.5))

Best regards

Oliver

Hey Eduardo,

i have updated the SDK (2.15.004), but still the same issue.
I thought about this clock issue, but for me this is no real peripheral. Its just the Configuration Register for pins. Writing to them via PN76_Sys_WriteRegister() is no problem.

Is there any permission issue for reading?

Best regards,

Oliver

Hello @MPEngineering

There is a newer SDK version for PN7642 available, please consider updating the SDK version you are using to the latest version available.

According to MCUXpresso IDE User Guide, Section 14.8, when an MCU powers up, many peripherals are unavailable because they are unpowered/not clocked. Attempting to access a peripheral in this state fails, and the peripheral simply displays them in red. Certain peripherals may be partially available, while unavailable sections are again displayed in red.

Regards,
Eduardo.
