LIgHT and DARK mode Bookmark name in one window

Good day to you.

I am trying MCUXpresso IDE v24.12 [Build 148] [2025-01-10] DARK MODE and I have a problem .
If I have several tabs open in one window and I move the cursor over their header (name) to select some (I don't click),
the names disappear chaotic, or the wrong names appear in the wrong places. Multiple occurrences of the same name, instead of the correct names. If I click on this mislabeled or hidden tab, the correct file appears.
I have this problem with both DARK Mod and LIGHT Mod. It does not appear in the Classic mod.
Can you please help me?

Hi Edwin.

My OS is Win 10 22H2, newly installed.

Also MCUXpresso is downloaded in last version.

I made some changes in Dark mode, but none in Light.

I did not have these problems with the older version of MCUXpresso.
With the new version, the response time when stepping in Debug mode has also increased significantly.

I created a new Workspace in a new directory, imported an existing project, the behavior is the same.

Classic works, in Light and Dark the mentioned errors appear.
I'm attaching a video record . (It's my first recording, be forgiving). It's interesting that in the video the cursor moves over the tabs, in fact it was right on top of them.

The error occurs immediately after setting the mode and restarting the IDE. It's not random.
Somewhat random is whether the bookmark disappears or is overwritten by the name of another file in the window.

The function of the bookmark is preserved and when you click in the incorrectly displayed area, the correct file is switched and the bookmark names are corrected at that point.
Another swipe of the cursor (without clicking) will mess up the names again.

I have also attached the exported Preferences.

Does the issue persist after restarting MCUXpresso? If they do, please reinstall MCUXpresso and let me know if this behavior continues.

Hi Edwin.

In the newly installed IDE I created a completely new directory and in it a completely new project for MK20DN512. The error also appeared in this new project.
Still only in Light and Dark mode. Classic works without errors.

I have not been able to replicate this issue on my side.

Does this also happen with older versions of MCUXpresso (i.e v24.9 or v11.10.0)?

Hi Edwin,

Previously I had MCUXpresso 11.5.1 installed.
Unfortunately I don't know what updates it has undergone. Hopefully I will be able to find out.
I only noticed the bookmarks problem with version 24.12.148.

Thanks for the clarification. If that is the case, I would recommend you temporarily use v24.9 instead of v24.12. At least until a newer version of MCUXpresso that fixes this issue gets released.

What OS and version are you using? Did you change anything else besides the theme color? How long have you been experiencing this issue (as soon as you upgraded to v24.12, or sometime after?) and how did you noticed it started (randomly or after changing to dark mode)? Does this happen to a single project or multiple projects? What about creating a new workspace, does the issue still occur?
