Recently installed MCUXpresso v11.0.1 [Build 2563] and when I tried to 'Check for Updates' I discovered that the list of 'Available Software Sites' is completely empty!? How can I refresh this list or do I have to find a default list and manually enter the sites?

I just uninstalled and reinstalled. This fixed the problem.

On first startup, there is a firewall warning. My guess is that there was a problem allowing firewall access that prevented the list.

Anyway... all is well, thanks for the help and suggestions.

With a fresh installation of the IDE v11.0.1, I see the following update sites.

Would you please try switching to a clean workspace and check whether this fixes anything? As a last resort, you could also try starting the IDE with '-clean' (add it in mcuxpressoide.ini). It would be helpful to see the .log file from your workspace as well.

Greetings,

Thanks for the help... yes, this list on my system is empty.

I'm not sure how to switch to a clean workspace(?)

Also, what is the .log filename of interest?

Hi Peter,

The .log file is a text file located in your workspace .metadata folder:

For a new/clean workspace: switch to a new folder/empty using this menu:

I hope this helps,
