Additional software debugging for MCUXpresso IDE

I am familiar with Keil µVision IDE which provides some nice functionality: 1.) Debug in simulation mode without downloading code to a target, and 2.) a software logic analyzer for observing signal states vs. time (e.g. different GPIO pins) without the need for an oscilloscope.

Does this sort of functionality exist, perhaps through a 3rd party add-on, or would it be possible to add this functionality?

You can use FreeMASTER, which is basically a virtual oscilloscope, and it may be more powerful than you want.

Sorry, MCUXpresso IDE does not support the use of software simulators. It only supports debugging via the use of a debug probe to real hardware.

What about now? Whether now is there any support added for debugginh without target system/board? Especially for iMX RT1064 Series & KM34 Series MCUs..
