Could you kindly check with your IT team if there are any security that might be blocking USB port access on your machine?
In certain scenarios, USB connectivity is limited by IT for security purposes.
Since you indicated that the LinkServer was functioning previously.
Other option is, if a debug operation fails or its not properly shut down, or a crash occurs, it is possible that one or more of these processes are still running making a new debug connection fail. Could you help us try the button "Clean Up debug" in MCUXpresso IDE, to kill all low-level debug executables.

Could you help us confirm if your device appears correctly in Device Manager? And if the drivers are updated?
