when l was use the ls1012a for linuxptp ,l have get the follow questions:
1.when i use the command "ethtool -T eth0" :
Time stamping parameters for eth0:
Capabilities:
software-receive (SOF_TIMESTAMPING_RX_SOFTWARE)
software-system-clock (SOF_TIMESTAMPING_SOFTWARE)
PTP Hardware Clock: none
Hardware Transmit Timestamp Modes: none
Hardware Receive Filter Modes: none
2.when i use ptp4l ,get the follow error:
ptp4l[90.468]: interface 'eth0' does not support requested timestamping mode
failed to create a clock
could you help us solve it,tor ls1012a did not suppport it? thanks a lot.
