What is eth-config? How can we validate it?

There is a DPAA package eth-config in "QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-20160527-yocto/sources/meta-freescale/recipes-dpaa/eth-config", but I can't find any info about it in "QorIQ-SDK-2.0-IC-Rev0.pdf".

I want to know what is it? How can we validate it?
