We have LS 2088 RDB boards Rev F. It boots fine from the NOR Flash but does not try to boot from the SD card (the SD card has LSDK - have tried with both online provided versions and locally built ones).

We have set the DIP Switches as follows

SW5- 11111111
SW3- 00010010
SW6- 11111111
SW4- 10111111
Sw9- 01000000
SW8- 01111111
SW7- 01000010

The board boots from NOR Flash even when the SD Card has been inserted.

Any suggestions for getting the board to boot from SD Card?

we found that the firmware of uboot on the board was 2016 version. We built and programmed the 2019 version in the NOR Flash. Now we can make it boot from SD Card. What is surprising is that these boards were bought 2 weeks back.. unclear why they are being shipped with old firmware.

Also just want to indicate that after it boots up to the Linux distribution in NOR Flash, it can see all the partitions and files in the SD Card. So the card access and the LSDK on the card are good. It just does not use the SD card to boot. Is it the Uboot version? the version we have seems older than the ones in User guide

ok, what should it be for booting from SD Card? In the manual there are no other changes indicated to make it boot from SD card.

Please refer to the QorIQ LS2085A/LS2088A Reference Design Board Getting Started Guide, Table 3. Switch configurations.

For SD boot:
SW3: 00100000
SW4[1]: 0

Is SD boot supported in LS2088ardb? This post makes it sound like it is, but the QorIQ LS2085A/LS2088A Reference Design Board Getting Started Guide, Table 3. Switch configurations footnote 1 for SD 2.0 says it is not.
