LS1046A 2.5G SGMII

Hi,

Is the 2.5G SGMII MAC interface on the LS1046A an OC-SGMII interface. I am trying to determine if 2500Base-X is the correct medium for this MAC interface.

On the LS1046A reference deisgn board the 2.5G SGMII link is connected to an AQR113 part from Marvell. However, the AQR113 datasheet does not mention 2.5G SGMII, so I am trying to understand how this works?

So the connection between the LS1046A and the ARQ113 on the LS1046A reference design board is XFI, and not SGMII 2.5G, or is it both capable?

It is because the AQR113 from MARVELL is compatible with 2.5GBASE-T
