I have stumbled across a term called "Soft lockstep with determinism" when looking into marketing sheets for the layerscape LS1046a. I assume this might be a copy & paste error, but maybe someone can clarify? Furthermore, I know that hard-lockstep is not implemented in this SoC, but maybe there is a usable workaround how to make the SoC more reliable.
Also, are there some recommendations for using the LS1046 in safety critical environments?
