LS1046 DDR address remapping

Hi,

I just wanted to confirm with you if I understood LS1046A DDR remapping correctly.

At section 2.3.1 of LS1046ARM the following address remapping is displayed:

I understand that the 'Chip Address' column is refered to the Local Address Space while the 'Remapped DRAM Address' is refered to the DDR ICs (the address set at its pins). Am I right? If that is the case I also understand that the 'Chip Address' is accessed by the software via physical addresses, is that correct?

Apart from that, from the note at the same section of LS1046ARM, I understand that segment 16 (4th row) covers all the DDR addresses from the previous rows. That is, if I access address 80_0000_0000, that would be the same as accessing address 08_0000_0000 or address 00_8000_0000 since all of them would access address 00_0000_0000 of the DDR IC. Is it implemented this way?

Sorry for all the question bombing, but I'm still a bit new to this subject. Thank you in advance.
