LS1028ARDB IEEE1588 Test

Hi, NXP guys

I want to test IEEE1588 on LS1028ARDB. I can only find documentation about "Quick Start for IEEE 1588" and use linuxptp software for IEEE1588. But I don't know how to use J11, J12 and J13 for IEEE1588 on LS1028ARDB (PCB board). I don't find any documentation for LS1028ARDB 1588 1PPS test. Can you provide any good suggestions for us? Thank you very much.

Hi,

I have executed the following commands on LS1028ARDB:

ethtool -T eno0

ptp4l -i eno0 -m &

echo 1 > /sys/class/ptp/ptp0/pps_enable

cat /sys/class/pps/pps0/assert # check latest timestamp of PPS event

But I can't get PPS waveform on digital oscilloscope through J12 (IEEE1588) on LS1028ARDB. In other words, there is nothing happened on oscilloscope. Is there any good suggestions? Thanks.

By the way, I just want to check PPS waveform on digital oscilloscope through J12.

You need to modify the dts according to Documentation/devicetree/bindings/ptp/ptp-qoriq.txt.
