Hi NXP guys,

I can program LSDK BSP images (composite firmware, kernel and rootfs) manually on eMMC using flex-installer tool on TinyLinux for LS1028ARDB (Ethernet). But when we need to program BSP images (composite firmware, kernel and rootfs) on lots of eMMCs on MP, is there any good approach to do this or any documentation to do this for LS1028A? Thanks.

BRs.

Both versions could support flash programmer. We provide evaluate version for customer assess their using, you could apply it to try the function.

We never use the CodeWarrior TAP to flash big image. It's used for the bare board to get first image.

The flash time depends on the memory you are using, Its about 10-20 minutes to flash 60M into SD card when I use it. After program the image, the Tiny Linux is ready.

If the Tiny Linux is ready, using flex-installer will be recommended way.

You could try to use flash programmer to program first image with CodeWarrior TAP if the eMMC on the board could be supported.

If the Tiny Linux is ready, using flex-installer will be recommended way.

Hi,

We have only eMMC on our customized board with LS1027A. We have following two questions to confirm:

1. According to our investigation, if we want to program LSDK BSP images including composite firmware, kernel and desktop rootfs on eMMC, we need to purchase NXP CodeWarrior software and hardware, but we find following two versions of CodeWarrior software, which version do we need to program eMMC on MP?

2. Can you provide us estimated programming time to program above three BSP images (size: about 1.5G) on eMMC through CodeWarrior software and CodeWarrior TAP hardware for reference?

Thank you very much.
