Help needed to deploy image from NXP Yocto BSP for LS1046afrwy

I am using the NXP Yocto Linux BSP SDK for a LS1046afrwy board which i have downloaded from

https://source.codeaurora.org/external/qoriq/qoriq-components/yocto-sdk

I am able to build the "fsl-image-networking" with success, but I cannot find any instructions how to deploy the output image to a SD card.

1) Is there any guide howto deploy the above image to an SD-card?

2) Are there any plans to update the yocto-sdk to the latest LSDK release. Last commit is almost 9 month old?

NXP offers LSDK for the the LS1046ADRWY board:

Use this LSDK for image building.
