Curious about PCIE legacy interrupt...

I am using LS104x custom CPU.

PCIe legacy interrupt supports a total of 4 INTA-INTDs.

Question.

1. Do you know the history of why only 4 applications were applied?

2. Is there any problem even if the 3 PCIE ports of the LS1046 are set to the same interrupt INTA?

1) What does it mean: "4 applications were applied"?

2) There is no problem - refer to the QorIQ LS1046A Reference Manual, Table 5-1. Interrupt Assignments.

Legacy Interrupt consists of only 4 INTA-INTDs.

I would like to know why I configured only 4 interrupts when designing the specification at first.

No matter how much I googled, I was curious because there was no data explaining the history.
