CMSIS-DAP vs JTAG

Hi,

We are designing PCB board for our application that uses ls1043a processor. For programming and debugging purpose, we want to go with JTAG interface instead of CMSIS-DAP interface due to the board space constraint.

Let me know if it is OK to use JTAG instead of CMSIS-DAP.

If "No" is the answer, please tell me the proper reason for it and also let me know what are all the additional features available in CMSIS-DAP.

CMSIS-DAP is an optional module - i.e. JTAG can be used for the board bring-up solely.
