lpc1768 compiler error

I am getting a ton of this same error from a program that ran on Rowley. They all get same message and involve my messages. Here is the 2 statements that act on a message and the error at the end.  I spent all day trying to solve this so I now throw myself on the mercy of the community for help.

Thank you. I may have gotten careless lately. Converting too many assembly programs to C I guess.

Looks like you have data definitions in your header file (bad idea) which is then included into two different .c files. Another reason could be that one .c file includes another (also a bad idea). In the latter case you need to tell the compiler not to compile the one that's being included.
