installed link2 configuration tool and try to run.  Get error message invalid win32 Application.   This is on a XP  SP3 32 bit machine.  Does this not work on 32 bit?   NET4 is installed.

The LCT v2.00 was built with VS2010 using NET4, while v2.01 was built with VS2013 using NET4.5. Unfortunately, it looks like an option for enabling legacy XP support was not turned on for v2.01 when the project was switched to VS2013.

We'll re-enable this support for a future release, but for now, you can use the older v2.00 LCT binary which is in the v2.00 installer.
This can still be downloaded here (direct link): http://www.lpcware.com/system/files/lct_installer.exe

It might still be a good time to consider an OS upgrade (but I can understand if you don't want to!)..

I would guess that NXP don't support on XP any more (seeing as it has been obsolete since April 2014). Using Visual Studio you have to specifically enable XP support in your executable and it looks like they have chosen not to.

Time to upgrade your computer and/or OS...
