basic Q: disabling all interrupts?

How do I temporarily disable all interrupts? And then re-enable them? This is for executing a short sequence atomically, on a LPC1114 if it matters. Thanks!

Try:

__enable_irq();
__disable_irq();

defined in core_cm0.h of CMSIS
