I know that this has been discussed before, but is there any idea when/if 654 bit drivers will be available for the DFU portion of the LPC Link?

The workaround (XP mode) is ungainly and it seems relatively trivial to recompile the driver for 64 bit.

Thanks,

I neither have Windows 7 x64 Pro nor do I have the hardware to support virtuallization... also, I am participating in the challenge.  I will have to run from a 2003 vintage laptop  :(

Good question.
This one pops up now and then but the only answer I have seen up to now is that "we are working on it". It seems a bit strange that with the current move from 32 to 64 bit operating systems a DFU driver for these devices is not available.

It would be great if NXP could tell us what the expected delivery date of the driver is.

Rob

LPCXpresso with 64-bit Windows Vista/Windows 7 support should be available within the next few months. We apologize for not having an exact date at this time.

64-bit drivers are a no brainer - any higher end laptop you buy now will be 64 bit. And it's any easy compile option to create them, assuming the source code is reasonably standard.
