Reading USB Mass storage devices

Hello all,

Does anyone know/think if/it is possible to program the lpc1342 device to read  the contents of a mass storage device rather than a lpc1342 becoming a mass storage device?

Although you can't directly connect a usb mass storage device, you ought to be able to connect the SSP/SPI up to an SD card, which might provide the functionality you are after.

The USB interface on the LPC1343 is Device level only, so no as far as I am aware.

You would need an LPC17xx series with Host and/or OTG support.
