Im using the LPC1769, and I'm gonna use it for communication with an external module. The module has a RS232 interface. My question is if it Would be possible to use rs485 hardware, and a little change in the example code to make it rs232 compatible?

OK thanks. Is there any easy solution for fixing this?

Fix what

A MAX3232  transceiver is making a nice RS232 signal from your 3.3V UART :)

See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAX232 or http://no.farnell.com/maxim-integrated-products/max3232cse/transceiver-rs-232-3232-soic16/dp/9725490
