Missing Product Activation Menu Option

Hi guys,

I'm very new to LPC and just installed the LPCXpresso v5.2 in my Ubuntu machine (11.10 64 bit). The problem is I couldn't find that Help->Product Activation selection in my installation. I tried to uninstall and reinstall back older version of LPCXpresso (5.1 and 5.0) with no luck. That selection is still missing. Anyone encounter this before? Is there any temporary files that LPCXpresso created which I can try to clear? Thanks for the help.

Hi guys,

Just to update, I manage to find the culprit. It's not the unity interface. I was using the same workspace folder for LPCXpresso and Eclipse, and that is the cause of the problem. Creating a new workspace folder for LPCXpresso resolve the issue. I guess it got confused with .metadata created by the Eclipse.

Yes I run the LPCXpresso and open the Help. Here is the list of options shown in the Help:

Did you run LPCXpresso? These menu items are in the product - not on the desktop.

If this is not your problem, I suggest you take a snapshot of the LPCXpresso menu bar and post it to the forum.
