The source files in the _NXP_LPC176x_Examples_Keil_MCB1700 example project in some cases do not use the correct case for the include file names. Linux, matches case for file names. If you are getting file not found errors for certain header files with the Linux version of LPCXpresso, you may be able to find them using "locate -i name_of_include_file".
After correcting the case of the #include directives to be consistent with the actual file names, all projects in the workspace built.
