LPCXpresso Preferences Location

I have installed IDE 7.3 to a new directory; 6.2 is still installed in a separate directory as a fallback.

Apart from asking for a workspace, 7.3 seems to have inherited all my window placement, colours, fonts etc.
Including the activation details.
This is GOOD, but I had understood that parallel installations of the IDE were totally separate.

Where are these preferences saved, as I am about to update my Windows OS on a new hard disk;
I don't want to have to set all the preferences again as some of them are buried quite deeply in menus and are
not always in expected places. And I can't actually remember exactly what preferences I altered.

So, to be specific, what file or files hold the preferences, and what directory(ies) store the files.

Not sure what required file/directories you are talking about. As FallGuy says, just use the Export/Import functionality to transfer preferences from one workspace to another.

Else, try using your favourite search engine for something like "eclipse transfer preferences to another workspace"

Thanks FallGuy, it would be nice to have a list of required files and directories though; maybe NXP will chip in.

That are stored in the workspace.

You can export the preferences. See
