Every time I copy a (cleaned) project and rename it, linker script file names (*.ld) are not updated

My workaround is to disable 'Manage linker script', clean my project and reenable 'Manage linker script' again

Now new linker script files are generated and I can delete the old ones :)

Is this a feature, a bug or am I just too dump to find an 'Automatic linker script file Update' button?

Zero - you're right. I've hit this caching issue myself and it is on the list of things to be looked at for a future release. Your workaround is the simplest one that I am aware of.

PS - Hello Larry - it's been a while!

"dumb" not "dump".  You can be the former, you can take the latter.

I would say it is a bug or an undesirable feature. :)  I'm back...
