Hi everybody.

It seems that I 've crashed my LPCXpresso this day. I received always the same message when I want to debug a program :

02: Failed on connect
  02: Failed on connect
  Cannot halt processor.
  Emu(0): Conn&Reset. Was: None. DpID: 2BA01477. Info: HID64HS12

Impossible to do anything !

Can someone debug and help me to revolve this problem or may I have to put my board to the trash ?

Thanks

Hi,
Not sure whether my problem was same as yours, I am using LPCXpresso LPC1347 without CRP set.

If my code goes into some tight spin loops, such as Hard Fault, I sometimes get a similar connection problem to yours. The simplest way I can get back into the LPC is to connect the USB cable to the LPC1347 target, reset into USB ISP mode, and delete the FIRMWARE.BIN file (directory comes up automatically on my Win8 system). Then I can get back to programming again. (I don't have serial comms, so don't use that ISP mode)

Regards,
Bill

In the documentation, the speak about the SPI pin as P2(10) Is this correct ?

No idea which documentation we are talking about. No idea which MCU you are using, but user manual of MCU is describing which pin is used as ISP-pin.

If debugging after switching to ISP (and enabling vector catch) isn't working,  ISP via FlashMagic is your last hope.

If FlashMagic isn't working, your MCU is protected ;-) or dead   :((

Thanks R2D2

I try to put the P2(10) = NMI pin to ground while resetting the CPU. Nothin ! The message says "Failed on connect : EP(04). Cannot halt processor
Conn&reset. Was : none. DpID : 2BA01477. Info :  HID64HS12

Impossible to connet !

In the documentation, the speak about the SPI pin as P2(10) Is this correct ?

Thanks every body for you help

Did you try ISP already?
