Hi there,

I would like to know if it is possible to use the IAR Jlink lite to flash my LPC1788 through LPCXpresso 4 debug tool?

I have tried building it, however the program cannot see the Jlink tool.

However it seems the board recognises the Jlink lite connection, since when I plug it in, it restarts the on demo program.

Thanks.

The LPCXpresso IDE can only work with the LPC-link as debugger, there is no support for other debuggers.

Incorrect : see http://www.code-red-tech.com/products.php#comparison

But in summary, the LPCXpresso IDE can work with the following debug probes:
- LPC-Link
- Red Probe / Red Probe+
- RDB1768 (probe built into board)

And to answer the original question explicitly - it will not work with Jlink.

Hi,

The LPCXpresso IDE can only work with the LPC-link as debugger, there is no support for other debuggers.

The reset you're seeing is just due to a glitch on the reset pin caused by the Jlink.
