is it neccesary to rebuild the project as i imported it to updated  IDE?

need help.

Hi,

I had a very similar problem and indeed all my trouble was related to the outdated UCOM driver for LPC-Link2.

It's unclear whether you are using the original LPC-Link or an LPC-Link2.

First of all, if you are using LPC-Link2, please check out the following FAQ:
https://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/lpc-link2-failing-enumerate-cmsis-dap-firmware

If that doesn't help please try going through the appropriate FAQ for the probe you are using below, in particular the troubleshooting sections.

https://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/booting-lpc-link
https://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/booting-lpc-link2

If you are still having problems, please confirm which probe you are using and provide details of what you see when working your way through the above FAQs,  together with what OS you are using.
