After pluging in my LPC-Link Win7(64bit) shows it as COOCOX COLINKEX, then tries to find drivers online and fails. During installation of LPCXpresso, Windows asks several times if I'm sure I want to install drivers before it does so, but device still doesn't work after that. I tried to manually show path to driver files (both LPC-Link and COOCOX), but windows didn't recognise them and refused to install.  In device manager it is shown as COOCOX COLINKEX and in device status is written "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)". What can I do to make it work at last?

Sorry to bother you, people. I figured it out. It is in fact COOCOX COLINKEX. I mistook my board with that one - http://www.lpctools.com/lpc11u14.lpcxpresso.aspx
They look similar, but JTAG is slightly diffrent, what I realised by looking at picture of LPCXpresso board.

I have LPC DEV KIT-11U14. Never tried to use any JTAG on my computer before, so it shouldn't find old drivers/register entries. When I try to start debugging session in LPCXpresso on some example project, it states, that it didn't find any emulator.  Even installed Ubuntu 12.04 32bit and there is the same problem.
When I try to boot it manually on Ubuntu I get:

dfu-util -l
Found Runtime: [0a5c:2151] devnum=0, cfg=1, intf=3, alt=0, name="UNDEFINED"

dfu-util -d 0x471:0xdf55 -c 0 -t 2048 -R -D LPCXpressoWIN.enc
Filter on vendor = 0x0471 product = 0xdf55
No DFU capable USB device found

When the jumper JP1 is on, instead of

I get
Bus 008 Device 004: ID 04cc:0003 ST-Ericsson
and JTAG is switched to mass storage memory with firmware file on it. In that state Win7 recognizes it as "NXP LPC134X IFLASH USB Device" and lists it under "disc drives".

When I plug it on Win7 only red "power" LED is on, while on Ubuntu besides "power" diode, green "D2" LED shines.
I started thinking, that board is malfunctioning, not operating systems. I tried to plug it on another computer with Win7, but it also recognized it as "COOCOX COLINKEX".

Never seen a COLINKEX, but it looks like it is an FTDI based probe - whereas LPC-Link uses DFU to install its debug firmware. Thus I don't see how the two could get confused - unless of course you have used COLINKEX on your PC and it has hijacked the LPC-Link VID/PID.

What LPCXpresso board have you actually got (i.e. your LPC-Link)?

What actually happens when you try to start a debug session within the LPCXpresso IDE?

Have you tried booting the LPCXpresso board / LPC-Link manually?

I have just installed it on my new laptop running Win7 64 bits Home Premium without problems.

All of my stuff is run as administrator if that makes any difference.
