Hello all,
I hope that you are well. I have a issue with debugging of my LPC1769 via LPC-Link. My hardware which I use is the same like on the link : http://www.embeddedartists.com/products/lpcxpresso/lpc1769_xpr.php  . My LPCExpressso studio version is 7.6.2.
My purpose is very simple - I want to load a example code from already installed in the directory:  C:\nxp\LPCXpresso_7.6.2_326\lpcxpresso\Examples........ , a blinky code and load it in my LPC1769 (to see that my board works correct and it's prepare for more serious project).
I build my project without errors, but I can't start my debugger (It's disable in Quick start window of LPCExpresso). You can see this on the attached screenshot.
I think that the issue comes from debugger setting. Please could you help me, because I begin to think that I have bought a broken board!!! My OS on my PC is Win7. I have read all Quick start documentation for LPCExpresso and I couldn't find a solution.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I found were is the problem: My PC monitor there several USB connectors, which can be used if it connects to personal computer via USB cable. This cable doesn't work properly (I connected the target board to the PC USB connectors, not to PC casing USB connectors). When I connected my target board directly to PC casing (not to PC monitor's USB connectors), I could go in the debug mode without any errors. Than you very much for your support!

Best regards,
Sergey.

This means that LPC-Link cannot see your target over SWD/JTAG. Check the connections to your target. You would also see this if the target is unpowered, or if you have disabled debug in your hardware - either via CRP or by re-assigning the pins.

Good morning all,
I will post Blinky Debug Log as on the link, which you sent me. Here it is:

Target error from Commit Flash write: Ee(84). IO Error - cable disconnected?
Target error from Read Memory: Ee(02). Not connected to emulator.
Target error from Read Memory: Ee(02). Not connected to emulator.

Hera I want to mention, that my LPC-Link is connected to the PC, and my PC recognize its USB driver correct. I checked (last week) if there are some problems in my cable (which connect LPC-Link target board with the PC) - everything works fine and my cable works correct.
If I missed something, please let me know? Have a nice day for now, and I will wail your feedback. Thanks !

Best regards,
Sergey.

You do not understand.

Please READ THE FAQ about the debug log. And then copy and paste the text from the debug log into your posting (using the Quote button on the toolbar.

If you missed it first time, here is a link to the FAQ I want you to read.

And please stop posting screenshots.

Ok, but if I can explain the issue with TEXT, I will find the solution of it. So I tried to program the chip, and the result is the same - can't connect to the target (see the screenshot with debug Log).
I build my own project and include all necessarily .h file relate to LPC1769 periphery. Compilation passed, but the debug and flashing exit with errors.

Post your debug log. Note: Post the TEXT, not a picture.

You have tried to debug a library project (which is not possible!!) rather than an actual application. Select the application in the Project Explorer view, and then you will be able to launch a debug session from the Quickstart view.

I would suggest that before going further, you read through the LPCXpresso User Guide (available from the help menu, or in PDF within the product installaton) and also watch the "rapid embedded development" video at:

http://www.lpcware.com/lpcxpresso
