I've attached a log. The top portion is when I run lpcxpresso as root, the bottom half is the output when I run as my normal user.

Interesting, now I will have to do a vanilla install and try LPCXpresso 6.12. ATM I can't even get the IDE to launch, let alone debug a program. Even though it's an older version it is great to see that somebody else has it working on Debian.

I know what I'm doing this weekend ;-)

Yes I have the 32 bit libraries installed, i basically followed the user guide.

Perhaps this should be changed to Ubuntu instead of Linux

Debian is not one of the distros that we support. However, have you installed the 32-bit compatibility libraries? LPCXpresso is a 32-bit application.
