After successful installation and registration I tried to install additional plugins using the "Help->Install New Software ..." launcher, I add new software sites, but on selection of existent or new software site I get always the error message :
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core.ProvisionException :
"Unable to connect to repository http://...." and in detail "Connection to http://... refused".
Selecting the desired sites on a standard browser was working. So I assume, that there is a problem on connection to software sites.

Can someone help me on this problem because searching on forums to get answers to this problem was not successful.

Thanks
stoll

Hi,

My company uses a Proxy to access to the internet ! Help->Preferences->General->Network Connection is set to "Direct"
Must I configure the Proxy inside of LPCXpresso ?
On my firewall configuration the outgoing rules for lpcxpresso in the Domain and the pubblic profile are enabled and not blocked. Must I check other Settings for the Firewall too ?

I think there is a problem in your network configuration or your firewall

Check your firewall configuration and logs to doubly check you are not being blocked

Does your company use Proxies to access the internet? If so, check out the preferences: Help->Preferences->General->Network Connections
Tried to open the failing website accross the internal brower on LPCXpresso works fine, but accessing the site from "Install Software" doesn't work.
Some others idea ?

Many thanks for the support.

It works here...

My guess is that your firewall is blocking LPCXpresso from making a connection. Try opening one of the failing websites using the internal browser (type the URL into the field at the top of the Welcome view.). If this fails, then your firewall is blocking LPCXpresso.
