Dear Sirs,

we have

Version: Red Suite 3 (NXP Edition) v3.6.3 [Build 318]

We only use it for one product only with an embedded LPC1768.
We want to build this product firmware on our build machine.

Is it possible to purchase an additional license for this product
or
change it to a floating license

Theres no reason/value -only expenditures- to do an upgrade towards LPCXPresso.

Please provide information about a solution.

Sincerely
J.Nagel

Thanks for this information. Migration is not possible. rehosting is possible, but bad applicable.

We Installed code red on the build machine and it shows up demo mode (starting ide).

Then we did a commandline build. it seems that the binary (>256kb) was build sucessfully.

This would already fit our need.

Is it correct, that the commandline compiler in demomode works without limitations?
- it is written that debugging is limited to 8k ?
- Is uploading limited with demo version ?
- what are other the limitations between demo and licensed version 3 (NXP Edition) ?

thanks

Sorry, Red Suite has not been available for purchase since 2013 and we no longer have any mechanism to sell additional seats. Note that v3.6.3 actually dates back to April 2011.

Thus I am afraid that your only options are to :

1) Migrate your project to building under LPCXpresso v7 (and if your image <256KB, you could use the Free Edition):

2) Rehost your existing Red Suite 3 NXP license to your other machine:
