I'm not sure how relevant this is to other people, but since we only have x64 machines setup in the office we're currently unable to use the LPC-Link (I'll probably setup a virtual machine for this when I can find the time).  If you want to be able to transfer your compiled code to a board using FlashMagic you'll need to configure LPCXpresso to build an Intel Hex file as well.  We've put together a simple tutorial showing how to do that if anyone comes across the same situation/need themselves:

I would like to see a 64-bit Windows 7 driver soon.  I just got an LPCXpresso LPC1114 board in a few days ago, but I do not have any 32-bit systems in my lab (I haven't had a 32-bit system in several years!)..

Additionally, Linux support would be good.  I am surprised how often Linux is overlooked as a powerful and popular development environment.

Thanks,
-Chris

Hi Chris, we expect to release 64-bit Windows drivers this year, however a specific date is not available yet.

Regarding Linux, although the LPCXpresso environment is not available on Linux, it should be possible to use standard open-source tools such as Eclipse and GCC and flash the LPCXpresso MCU with the on-chip UART ISP and USB ISP features.

Thanks,

We are working on creating 64-bit drivers for LPC-LINK. In the intervening time, is it possible to use Windows XP mode in Windows 7 to run LPCXpresso? It is basically a VM already set up.
