Is there setting available to change displayed date formats to UK d-m-y?
The US format catches me out so very often!

Even better would be to show the month as Jan, Feb, etc.

I have looked all over to change format, too. Can't change it - Very confusing.
Surely ISO-8601 dates [YYYY-MM-DD] would be the proper way, especially in a coder environment.

Agreeing with Mike.
For others, say non-americans and non-english (which includes me), this is even more confusing. Showing the month as text would be rather helpful.
