Using LPCXPRESSO 3.6 I have built an application with -O1 / -O2 compiler flags.
The code initially downloads OK and seems to run as expected. However if I subsequently disconnect the debugger, power cycle the target, and then attempt to re-attach the debugger it fails with a warning stating "03: Failed on chip setup: Em(12)....":

This does not happen if non-optimised debug code is loaded on the target.
I can work around this problem if I turn on the debugger option "Vector Catch" but this does not help colleagues who are trying to update code using the command line utilities.
