lpc824 clockout not working

I am trying to see the CLOCKOUT signal on an LPC824 in assembly language. I followed the docs carefully but am not getting any output. I am using pin number 15.

A working sample in assembly language or even in c would be helpful.

To provide the fastest possible support, I'd highly recommend you to refer to the periph_clkout demo in LPCOpen library, it shows how to use the SYSCTL driver to enable a specific clock source on the CLKOUT pin.
