Download the corresponding LPCOpen depending on the IDE that you are currently using. In the LPCOpen package you will find a example of the adc (periph_adc). You can use this as a guide to see how to read the adc value.
Also, I highly recommend you to read the user manual: UM10914.pdf chapter 29 that corresponds to the adc.
