We are using an LPC1822 together with a Spansion S25F128 or S25F256 quad-SPI. The setup is:

> Internal Flash is used for main application and for programming an image into SPIFI-flash.
> SPIFI-program used for testing purposes, incorporating boot loader for updating software in internal flash.
> Development platform LPCXpresso.

What steps are needed to program an application image into the mentioned SPIFI-chip,
by a program running from internal flash?

Hi, Bernardo,

The LPCXpresso IDE allows you to program the SPIFI-Chip.

I have attached a screen shot of the location of this tool.
