Hi,

I suppose that you use LPC1800 family, it has MotorCONPWM module, you use it to control motor.

Can you tell us the motor type you are using? do you control BLDC, PMSM or DC motor?

If you control a DC motor with a bipolar switching mode, it is possible to that you set the PWM duty cycle to zero, the DC motor speed will increase. In the bipolar switching mode, if you set the duty cycle of PWM in 50%, the DC motor will stall.
