What is the maximum allowable negative voltage on the ADC Pin in LPC845 Micro controller operating on the +3.3V.

According to datasheet, ADC anolog input limit is as below

It is recommended to connect an overvoltage protection diode between the analog input pin and the voltage supply pin.

Is there any Reverse Protection in the LPC845 ADC pin, if there what is it voltage tolerance. I need to give the Sinusoidal wave to the ADC.
